Tuesday Letter 5/25/26

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Where did the time go! It is hard to believe that we are in our final days of the school year. Please help your kids finish strong by sending them in well rested and prepared with a snack and water bottle.  Sometimes this transition can be a little upsetting for the kids who don’t like change. I usually describe this feeling to them as “bittersweet” and recognize that it is hard to say goodbye, but there are lots of exciting things to come.

Time Capsules: I need to start wrapping these up, so please send in letters and any other items you’d like by Thursday of this week.

Ice Cream Party: Shugs will be here June 5th! Thank you to all the parents making this happen, it will be so fun for the kids.

Graduation: Tuesday June 9th 10:00 am in the School Hall. There will be a reception to follow, but you can plan for everything to be done by 11:30 at the latest. All are welcome and encouraged to come and help honor all that these kiddos have accomplished this year. Please note that this is the last day of kindergarten.

And thank you for helping your kids choose and practice a book to read to the class. We only have a few more students left. They have been delightful to listen to and I can tell they all have felt proud.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Mrs. Clarke
