Monday Letter 1/16/23

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Good morning! I hope that you all had a nice long weekend. Thank you for sending the kids with warm coats. This week is short, but otherwise normal. But next week we have a visiting team of teachers and principals coming to observe our school. This is an important part of the accreditation process we have been working on for the last year and a half! We want the school and students to put their best foot forward so we are asking that everyone wear perfect uniform M-W. I hate to be the uniform police, but I have been asked to give out a few reminders. First perfect means the white shirt with a red sweater/ vest/ sweatshirt (this part is not optional). The other is regarding pants- no holes or terribly worn knees and girls may wear leggings under their jumpers, but they are not to be worn as pants. This is something I usually let slide, but for the coming week if you could adhere to this I would appreciate it. Thank you for any extra work this entails. We are taking the MAP winter assessment on Thursday so anything you can do to have your kids here from 1:00-2:00 is greatly appreciated.
